HOW WE WORK

OUR PROCESS

We are set up to tackle complex or everyday projects with the same level of ambition. Sletten is the technical expert you call when you have a challenge.

Sletten Construction’s dedicated, in-house preconstruction team consists of Architects, Engineers, Estimators, MEP coordinators and Commissioning Agents, and Virtual Construction staff. The team includes LEED and DBIA professionals, and specialists supporting our various divisions. Our team collaborates with designers and clients throughout the early stages of work to help identify best-value cost savings, streamline constructability, and identify early work packages and long-lead items.

Our Preconstruction team lead the early phases of work on every CMAR, GC|CM, Design-Build and Progressive Design-Build project. We use our established
preconstruction process to put every alternate delivery project on the path to success.

Sletten Construction’s in-house Virtual Construction team helps us build for the future. Virtual Construction services include:

  • 3D Scanning and As-built Verification
  • Building Information Modeling (BIM) with Revit, Navisworks & Revizto
  • Drone Aerial and 360 Photography
  • 4D Scheduling

These services are integrated with our preconstruction and construction services to augment our understanding of project constraints, existing conditions, design coordination and clash avoidance.

Our in-house MEP Coordination team works with the Owner, the third party Commissioning agent, the subcontractors, and design team to ensure are MEP systems are functioning as intended before we turn the building over. Our MEP team helps coordinate the subcontractors to manage project costs, timelines, integration, and final completion seamlessly from preconstruction to systems demonstration.

In addition to MEP coordination provided on every job, we offer full building commissioning services in some parts of the country. Our team understands your building.

Throughout Sletten Construction’s history, we have consistently worked with Owners and design partners to create high performance buildings for sustainable minded clients. Our in-house team of LEED professionals provide cost and constructability input in a project’s early preconstruction stages, developing relationships with specialty subcontractors to complete the construction. This partnership has extended to working with the National United States Green Building Council (USGBC) to better define building guidelines and in most cases, by striving to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certifications.

Sletten Construction is comprised of several in-house LEED accredited and Green Globes professionals. Having an in-house team allows for additional cost and time savings. Below is a list of our completed projects that have achieved LEED certifications.
